About This Site

My Path is an educational web site developed by a team of contributors with grant funding from the National Institutes of Health. The site is designed to assist patients with diabetes in making behavioral changes to improve their health.

How often should I visit the Web Site?
In general, the people that benefit the most from Internet programs are those who visit more often. We recommend that for the first month or so you visit the web site daily or at least three times per week to track your progress. After that, use the sections of the web site that you find most useful. Be sure to visit the web site if you struggle to meet your goals or face a new challenge.

How did you come up with the tips and strategies you recommend?
The actions we suggest are based on research that has shown them to be: 1) effective; and 2) preferred by people similar to you and to have been successful in making improvement in their diabetes self-management.

Content for this site was developed by researchers and clinicians from Kaiser Permanente Colorado and Oregon Research Institute. Web site programming, design and maintenance are provided by InterVision, Inc.
