Paul Estabrooks, PhD

Dr. Estabrooks has published over 60 articles, book chapters and a textbook that cover the areas of behavioral theories, interventions and the potential for intervention translation from research to practice. His research has been supported by the National Institutes of Health, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, American Heart Association and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada. Dr. Estabrooks has participated in a series of studies that targeted the promotion of regular physical activity and healthful eating. To date Dr. Estabrooks' interventions have been used in both clinical and community settings, benefiting over 50,000 Americans.
