Diane King, PhD

Dr. King completed her doctorate in health and behavioral science at the University of Colorado at Denver and has worked with adults with Diabetes for over 8 years. Her work has focused on using computer-based technology to improve nutrition and physical activity. Dr. King has co-authored over 20 articles including a book chapter on self-management of type 2 diabetes, published in Best Practices in the Behavioral Management of Chronic Disease and an article on using interactive health CD-ROMs that was published in the Diabetes Spectrum. Dr. King is especially interested in helping people create home, work and community environments that support healthy eating and active living.
